Penny Hard Wax

Patina Hard Wax

On the other hand, our Patina Hard Wax is thicker and creamier, offering a more structured texture than Penny. Though not quite as pliable as Penny, Patina retains a high degree of flexibility to minimize breakage. 

Skin comfort

Even with the most gentle waxes on the market, it’s important to take precautions to prevent unnecessary irritation and skin damage. Be sure to double-check your wax temperature and perform a patch test before introducing a client to a new product. You should also ask about your client’s skincare routine and history of facial treatments. If they’ve recently had a chemical peel or spent a lot of time in the sun, you may need to reschedule that lip wax. 

Clearly communicate what you’re doing as you do it to minimize any anxiety your clients may feel. And, as always, use proper techniques and appropriate pre- and post-wax products to ensure a comfortable experience.
