How would you describe the best soft wax for professional hair removal? Is it creamy or gel-based? Does it target coarse, stubborn hairs or eliminate fine peach fuzz? Will it leave your clients with satin-smooth skin and minimize the risk of irritation and ingrown hairs?

Today, we don’t just have one premium soft wax to share with you. We have two! In this guide, we’ll highlight our Soft Wax Duo kit, which contains two of the best soft waxes on the market.

What makes Enso’s wax duo the best soft wax?

We’ve put a lot of work into crafting the best soft wax solutions for professional estheticians. Here’s what sets our products apart from the competition:

Highest-quality ingredients

The best soft wax won’t contain a long list of mysterious ingredients. Instead, it will be thoughtfully crafted with intentional components that work together to ensure a safe, comfortable, effective wax every time.

Packed with quality vegan ingredients like mica, mineral oil, and a highly stable synthetic rosin, our cruelty-free Soft Wax Duo won’t let you down.

Hypoallergenic and safe for all skin

Soft wax has developed a reputation for being harsher on the skin than hard wax, but this isn’t always the case. At Enso, our Penny and Patina soft waxes are hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and fragrance-free. In fact, it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin types and delicate treatment areas, while still offering effective control during larger body wax sessions.

Low-temp, easy to prep

Waxes with a lower melting point are naturally more comfortable on the skin than hotter alternatives, presenting a lower risk of adverse side effects like redness and irritation. Both Penny and Patina reach a spreadable, honey-like consistency quickly, so you can spend less time waiting and more time treating clients.

Unique formulations

As a professional esthetician, you should be able to customize every treatment to the client’s unique needs, and our Soft Wax Duo offers greater flexibility to tailor each session for optimal results.

What’s inside the Soft Wax Duo package?

Ready to meet the best soft wax products on the planet? Let us introduce you to the dream team that makes up the Soft Wax Duo.

Patina Soft Wax

Patina Soft Wax is a creamy, blue-green solution that offers superior visibility and grip. This is the best soft wax for coarse, stubborn strands and areas requiring unmatched precision. From facial hair removal to Brazilian waxing sessions, Patina does it all.

Penny Soft Wax

Our Penny Soft Wax is a highly versatile full-body wax, balancing unbeatable performance with exceptional comfort. Despite its super-gentle composition, this transparent wax can effectively remove fine, vellus hairs from the follicles, leaving your clients with silky, touchable skin that lasts even longer between sessions.

Soft Wax Duo waxing protocol

Perfecting your technique and mastering the application process for soft wax will help ensure that your clients achieve the best possible results from each waxing session. Here’s a step-by-step guide to our Soft Wax Duo waxing protocol:

1. Cleanse the skin

Whether you’re using one of our soft waxes or our Penny Hard Wax beads, every treatment should begin with a gentle cleanse to remove sweat, sebum, and product residue. Use an oil-free, water-based cleanser that won’t leave a film or residue behind.

2. Hydrate the skin

Healthy, hydrated skin is more resilient against waxing and bounces back faster from the stress and irritation this process may cause. Although proper moisture levels are established long before your client enters the treatment room, hydrating immediately before a wax will also improve results.

A hydrating pre-wax serum or moisturizer creates just enough of a barrier to protect the skin from hot wax without interfering with the hair removal process. It may even soften hair follicles, helping strands dislodge more easily, which reduces discomfort and the risk of breakage.

3. Apply wax in the right direction

Once you’ve cleansed and prepped the skin, check your thermometer to ensure optimal temperature and consistency. Working in small, manageable sections, use a clean applicator to apply a thin layer of wax in the natural direction of hair growth.

4. Hold taut and pull parallel to the skin

Grab your single-use wax strips and use one hand to hold the skin taut, while using the other to place a strip onto the fresh wax. Quickly pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth, keeping your hand parallel to the skin. Remember, lifting away from the skin can cause bruising, breakage, and irritation.

5. Apply aftercare products

Immediately after waxing, apply a soothing recovery solution, such as aloe vera gel or hyaluronic acid, to calm inflammation and kickstart the healing process. Discuss proper post-wax care with your client, so they know to avoid heat, friction, and other irritants in the following days. Consider printing out an aftercare guide to make it easy.
