How long have you been in esthetics school?
I’ve been in esthetics school since January 2026–May 2026.
What made you decide to pursue esthetics? Was there a specific moment, or has it always been an option?
I’ve always loved the beauty industry, but choosing esthetics became deeper than that for me. There wasn’t just one big aha moment, for me it was more of a realization over time that I love helping people feel more confident in themselves.
It’s my favorite way to be there for someone. I have personally experienced how a small service can change how you feel and I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of.
What’s something you’ve learned already that completely changed how you see beauty?

I have learned so many things and I am just at the beginning of my journey. The biggest thing that changed how I view beauty is that being beautiful isn’t about being perfect.
Everyone has different skin, features, and concerns and to me that is the real beauty. Instead of trying to “fix” what someone dislikes, I find that it's better to enhance what someone does have to make them feel more confident in their own skin.
You’ve already started your esthie instagram page, what made you start documenting your journey?
Starting my instagram wasn’t just about gaining a following and possible future clientele. To me, instagram helps me document my growth and keeps me accountable. I’m still learning and I believe it’s just as important to share how far you have grown in such a constantly evolving industry.
When do you feel the most confident in your journey?
I feel the most confident when I am doing the actual work. Whether that be, being with the clients, building that trust and relationships, learning new skills, or even just seeing the progress in my skills. Those little moments keep me wanting to push and help reassure me I am on the right path.
What kind of esthetician do you want to become? Do you already have a dream service, specialty, or niche in mind?

I want to be an esthetician people can trust and feel comfortable with. I'm drawn to waxing and results-driven treatments, especially with things like ingrown hairs, skin texture, and overall skin health.
It's my goal to not only make my clients leave feeling confident, but to also help them wake up everyday feeling confident in their own skin.
Where do you see yourself one year after graduating?
A year after graduating I see myself working in a space where I am able to continue to grow, build up a loyal clientele, and become even more confident in my skills. I also really would love to keep growing my social media and start to turn it into a strong part of my marketing and my brand.
