Q: What’s your favorite part of working with clients?

A: Honestly, the connection I build with my clients is the most rewarding part of what I do. As a beauty professional, I truly feel lucky to have such an amazing, respectful clientele. After becoming a mom, I took a step back and really thought about what I wanted my business to reflect—and for me, it’s all about mutual respect and clear communication. Most of my clients have come through word-of-mouth referrals, and I wholeheartedly believe that’s how the strongest relationships and trust are built.

Q: How long have you been a beauty professional, and where are you from or currently located?

A: I’m originally from a small town in North Idaho, just outside of Coeur d’Alene. I’ve been in the esthetics world for a little over 14 years now! During that time, my husband and I spent nearly two years living in Boise, which is actually where I discovered my true passion for waxing. That experience really helped shape the direction of my career and where I am in our small community now.

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure TV show or favorite way to unwind after work?

A: My boys and I have a little nightly ritual—some cozy Sleepytime tea and either a good book or a fun cartoon before bed. Once they’re tucked in, I wind down with a hot bath and a few episodes of Friends with my husband. It’s my comfort show and the perfect way to drift off after a long day.

Q: How do you stay inspired as a beauty pro?

A: I stay inspired by focusing on what really works and what my clients actually need, rather than chasing every new trend that pops up. There’s always something new in our industry, but I’ve learned to filter out the noise and stick with what I know delivers real results. I love continuing to grow my skills and staying educated, but my biggest inspiration is seeing how much of a difference personalized, consistent care can make for someone.


Q: You were the very first Penny Soft Wax customer! What inspired you to take that leap of faith, and what was your first impression of Enso and our wax?

A: I definitely have my go-to products, but I always love testing new ones on myself or family to see if they’re worthy of a spot on my back bar.
